Not suitable for underwater applications. If not using primer, we recommend an adhesion test. Do not allow this product to come into contact with alkyd resin paint systems. Not suitable for PE, PP, PTFE, silicone rubber, polystyrene and softened plastics. Excess varnishing can cause the development of cracks. Do not expose the product to alcohol or solvent vapours as these may cause discolouration or damage to the product.

For sealing joints between construction elements indoors, coloured sealants also suitable for outdoor use. For sealing flexible joints in the automotive and shipbuilding industry. Good adhesion without primer on materials such as wood, stone, concrete, glass, hard plastic, plaster, metal, Styrofoam, ceramics etc.
Smoothing should be carried out within the skin forming time of the sealant. Uncured material can be removed using Bond and Seal Remover. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. MS40 hybrid sealing compound can be painted over once the skin has formed, although preliminary tests should first be performed to verify paint compatibility.
