Intumescent fire protection fabric for non-combustible pipework and tubing with combustible insulation parts
- A fire-retardant coating forming an insulating layer is applied to one side of the bandage
- Resistance to external influences such as moisture, weathering and UV rays
- For use indoors and outdoors
- Paintable surface
- Fibreglass on the outside (grey colour) and foaming coating on the inside in case of fire (red colour)
- Simple installation
- Fire protection fabric is pre-slotted down the centre and is separable lengthwise, meaning less material is required in the wall and, when used on ceilings, the fabric is needed only on the underside
- Partitioning of all commercially available flexible elastomeric foam insulation (FEF)
- Implementation without protective insulation up to an outside pipe diameter of 114.3 mm
- Partitioning of pre-insulated air-conditioning split line combinations up to R 120 in accordance with DIN 4102-11
- Viable zero spacing solution with respect to other systems and installed components
- Copper pipework up to an external diameter of 88.9 mm
- Steel/cast iron/stainless steel pipework up to an external diameter of 323.9 mm
