Apply to clean, dry grease free surfaces. Ensure all remnants of old adhesive and/or PTFE are removed from the platen before applying new tape. If operating temperature exceeds 130°C bring newly covered surface up to full temperature gradually over a period of some hours. Allow platen to cool before appyling new tape, otherwise, problems will be experienced with adhesion. Apply a firm even pressure to ensure good contact with the platen surface.
