TYRE PRESSURE CHECK FOR CARS/VEHICLES
Mandatory on all vehicles marketed since November 2014, the TPMS sensor measures the pressure of the tire in which it is fixed. Würth has developed a whole range of precise, flexible and durable TPMS sensors to equip professionals in the automotive sector.
TO KNOW THE PRESSURE OF A CAR TIRE AT ALL TIMES
Housed in the tire valve, the TPMS sensor (“Tyre Pressure Monitoring System”) automatically measures the tyre pressure. The data, once transmitted, is displayed on the dashboard. The vehicle owner, car dealer or mechanic can now know the tire pressure:
• at any time by simply switching on the ignition of the car
• very simply, without the use of a pressure gauge.
RELIABLE, FLEXIBLE AND LONG-LASTING PRESSURE SENSORS
We ensure that our TPMS sensors strictly meet OEM requirements, the quality and operating standards set by the original manufacturer. In addition, most of our devices:
• have been developed and tested for the majority of original manufacturers, as well as for the majority of aluminium or steel rims sold separately
• can be programmed remotely and as desired
• allow the transfer of electronic ID from an original sensor to a replacement sensor via iQ50, which saves considerable time (for example when replacing tires in winter)
• display the tire pressure according to its position
• have a rechargeable lithium battery, designed to last 10 years (the equivalent of 160,000 km).
CHOOSE A SUITABLE TPMS SENSOR
So what differentiates these multiple models made by Würth? Among the multiple characteristics of our TPMS sensors reserved for professionals working on class M1 vehicles (cars), we will note variations in:
• the angle of the valve • of the material that constitutes the valve (rubber or aluminium in general) • the minimum or maximum pressure covered by the measuring range • or the maximum speed of use
