CHOOSE THE FLAT BRUSH YOU NEED
Aside from retaining its bristles and allowing an optimal application, the ideal professional flat brush is also chosen according to its dimensions and ergonomics. The following criteria can help you find the type of flat brush you need for a perfect application.
The material of the bristles: When made of synthetic fibres, they are flexible and particularly resistant to solvent products. Natural hairs, especially silk hairs, have a better grip and allow to obtain a very good rendering.
The material of the handle: A wooden handle is classic and effective; a flat brush with a plastic or bi-material handle is easy to clean.
The dimensions of the brush: In addition to the brush's width and thickness, also consider the length of the bristles of your flat brush. The shortest hairs will be especially effective on smooth surfaces. For surfaces with a certain relief, a long-haired model is preferred.
