PTFE tape is essential for a number of important tasks. Its consistency allows it to block and seal pipes and taps and is used daily by many different professionals, particularly plumbers.

PTFE TAPE FOR PLUMBING

PTFE tape is most used in the plumbing profession. A roll of waterproof tape allows you to perfectly seal any type of joint between pipes of various sizes. The PFTE sealing tape is made of polytetrafluoroethylene, it is also used without silicones and is resistant to various different environmental conditions. We offer professionals PTFE tapes that resists all aggressive substances that can commonly be found on a construction site; it also does not swell, which prevents thread binding. Please note under very high pressure the resistance to high temperatures can be significantly lower.

THREAD TAPE

PTFE sealing tape is essential to ensure a perfect seal of pipes and joints; it is positioned right where there are threads, because it thus avoids external stresses the pipe and the junction tends to loosen with the passage of time. A good threading tape is quite elastic, it does not have an excessively adhesive component, to provide consistent functionality over time. FEATURES OF PROFESSIONAL TEFLON TAPE

Professional PTFE sealing tape must have specific characteristics depending on the intended use. We offer two different products: a threading tape designed for hydraulic work and a professional Teflon tape suitable for sealing the threads of gas pipes. The first type of tape resists high as well as low temperatures; it can be used at temperatures ranging from -240 up to +240° C. The second is also suitable for higher temperatures, up to over 250° C. We offer our PTFE tape in rolls,to make it more practical to use.
